Resetting the Supervisor's Mailbox on a Comdial DX-80- Mike's PBX tips.
The Comdial DX-80 phone system offers several administration options to
work with mailboxes through the Supervisor Mailbox 70. Comdial, now
Vertical, uses Keylink software to administer and change much of the mailbox
database.
The following instructions are for working with mailboxes, which include adding, deleting, or modifying. To access the supervisor's mailbox you call into voicemail through a telephone from which you log into mailbox 70.
Instructions to Reset the Supervisor's Mailbox on a Comdial DX-80 PBX Phone System

The following instructions are to be done from a telephone.
- Call into the DX-80 voicemail system to change a supervisor mailbox.
- Fist from a telephone call into the DX-80 voicemail system and log into the Supervisor Mailbox 70.
- You will hear "To listen to your messages press 1. To send a message press 2. To change your options press 3." To access the Supervisor Menu Press 6 (Note: This option is not voiced.).
- The DX80 system will respond with the Supervisor Menu.
- Next Press 1 for Mailbox Administration and Enter the number of the mailbox you want to add, reset, modify, or delete when prompted. The system will repeat the number back to you.

1 to confirm that the number you entered or # if the number you entered
was incorrect. Once confirmation was made the system will respond with
the Mailbox menu options. - At this point you can do several things. To add a new mailbox to the system press 1. To delete the mailbox from the system press 2. To modify the mailbox press 3.
- To reset the mailbox press 6. At which point the DX-80 resets the mailbox. Then Press # to finish and exit.
