Instructions for Changing Time and Date on Inter-tel Telephones
Changing Time and Date Below on Inter-Tel phone systems including the
Encore, Axxent and GXP
Step by step instructions for changing the time and date on the
Inter-Tel Axxent.
The following time change must be done from the attendant telephone.
With the phone not in use enter 9800 to make the display show Date.
Next Enter the Date in the format MMDDYY or if the date is correct
press # move to the time.
Next the display should show Time when you can Enter the time in a
12 hour format after which the display will then show Press 1 for AM;
Press 2 for PM.
Press the correct number 1 or 2 and then # to save and exit.
How To Change the Time and Date on the Inter-Tel Encore
Use the Programming extension for these changes.
First Press the PROGRAM key and then use the Scroll Down key until the display shows System
Programming and then select it.
Next Enter the System Programming password and then select System.
Next Select Time and Date where you will Enter the time in a military format.
At this stage you can Select Confirm to change the time only.
To change the Date, enter MMDDYY and then Press the Speakerphone Key to complete the changes.
Changing the Time and Date on the Inter-Tel GXP-Plus
To change the Time press the SPCL key while the handset is on-hook and enter the Program Time/Date
feature code 4.
Next Enter the Program Time feature code 1. The display should show TIME XX:XX.
Next Enter the hour 00-24 and minutes 00-59 and then lift and replace the handset.
To change the Date press the SPCL key and enter the Program Time/Date feature code 4.
Next Enter the Program Date feature code 2. The display should show DATE DAY MON XX.
Next Press * until the correct day is displayed and then press #. Repeat this process for the
month and date then lift and replace the handset.
To change the Year press the SPCL key and enter the Program Time/Date feature code 4.
Next Enter the Program Date feature code 3. The display should show YEAR:XXXX.
Next Enter 4 digits for the year 0000-9999 and then lift and replace the handset.
